Digital pallet accounting – security and transparency of your balances with all involved parties
The inter.PAL pooling system can be used to its full extent, including digital pallet accounting
When using digital pallet accounting, the inter.PAL network and the associated pooling services in Europe are automatically available. This allows, for example, to easily transfer your pallet liabilities to other inter.PAL customers with just a few clicks. The CO2- and cost-intensive balancing trips are no longer necessary.
Significantly minimise the loss of pallets – security through the avoidance of unnecessary transfer of manual pallet documents to pallet accounting
Significantly minimise the loss of pallets – security through the avoidance of unnecessary transfer of manual pallet documents to pallet accounting
One of the challenges: pallet slips created on paper (now standard in most freight forwarding and transport companies) have to be transferred to the pallet accounting system at a later date. This transfer is prone to errors, leads to a high level of coordination effort and to pallet losses. In digital pallet accounting, the driver can create a pallet slip directly in the system and also have it signed by the customer. The pallet department then simply assigns this digital document to the correct booking partner in the digital pallet accounting system. It is no longer necessary to transfer the data. It couldn't be simpler or more secure. However, it is still possible to add any unavoidable manual pallet documents from subcontractors and external partners with just a few clicks. This gives you complete flexibility when integrating your partner companies.
The freight forwarding company managed the large number of pallet accounts with customers and subcontractors manually in Excel.
This often led to errors and misunderstandings that had to be clarified in a time-consuming manner. Transparency regarding the sales with hundreds of booking partners was impossible, and controlling was as clumsy as an old steamer.
By switching to digital pallet booking with inter.PAL, the freight forwarder has gained a powerful tool that allows it to see at the touch of a button which booking partners still have pallets to receive or where there are payables.
Account reconciliations are carried out promptly and digitally – and without any booking errors.
The process is much faster, more secure and transparent for all involved parties.
The fact that drivers can fill out pallet slips live in the system eliminates redundant data entry and speeds up processes.
It couldn't be easier!
